Happy Relaxation Day!

Dear Mr. Bahama:

May I call you Tommy? I received your e-mail this morning informing me that today was National Relaxation Day. I admit, I had a sneaking suspicison that it was one of your keen marketing ploys to sell more of your wonderful products. So I googled “National Relaxation Day’ and lo and behold. It IS!

How wonderful that this important holiday happened to fall on a Monday. You see, it’s raining here in Maryland and I do not have a lot of motivation this morning to work at my desk. I have a book to finish, proposals to write, and many other tasks which require energy and motivation. But if it’s National Relaxation Day, it’s only right that I give it the attention it deserves.

So perhaps I’ll take the next hour off……and relax!
